Terms

  • All tours include accommodations at a 4-star international hotel in Lhasa, equipped with oxygen. For regional hotels, please consult the hotel standards outlined in the detailed itinerary.
  • Every tour features a Hada, a traditional Tibetan scarf, along with oxygen, glucose, Rhodiola herb for altitude sickness, and a tour completion certificate.
  • All listed prices include essential entry permits for international visitors to Tibet, travel permits, military district approvals, and other necessary documents.
  • All tours are accompanied by Chinese-English tour guide services throughout the entire trip.

  • Guests holding Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, or Macao ID cards must finalize their team registration 15 days prior to their trip.
  • Our company may adjust the itinerary order based on conditions at the destination, ensuring all attractions remain included. Please inform guests of this policy before departure. No change confirmation documents will be signed upon arrival. Thank you for your understanding.


Requirements for travelers in Tibet Autonomous Region (TAR)

Tibet enforces stringent entry regulations for foreigners. Independent travel is prohibited; visitors are required to join organized tours through licensed agencies.

Required Documentation

Tibet Travel Permit (TTP):

  • Issued by the Tibet Tourism Bureau, all foreign visitors must obtain this permit.
  • Procedure:
    • Your licensed Chinese travel agency applies for the TTP on your behalf.
    • You must provide Passport and Chinese visa copies.
    • Detailed itinerary (including dates, hotels, and attractions), supplied by us.
    • Guide and driver details, supplied by us

Alien Travel Permit (ATP):

  • Required for visiting “open” areas beyond Lhasa, including the Mount Everest Base Camp, Shigatse, and Ngari.
  • Obtained locally in Tibet through your travel agency.

Military Permit:

  • Essential for remote or border regions, such as Mount Kailash and areas within Ngari Prefecture.

Additional Requirements:

  • Group Travel: Visitors are required to travel in groups of at least two, accompanied by a licensed guide.
    • No Solo Travel: Independent exploration is not allowed.
    • Restricted Areas: Access to some monasteries and border regions is prohibited, such as specific areas in Nyingchi.
